How to Register for the September 2026 Writers' Workshop:

Are you planning to join us for the Writers' Weekend on September 19 and 20? The last time I ran this event in 2024, every seat sold out. 

To keep the workshops highly interactive, I'm strictly limiting registration to 15 attendees again this year. We'll be meeting at the Saint Mary's University Robie Street Campus, and free parking is included for all attendees.  If you require overnight accommodation, please contact me and I'll provide you with some nearby suggestions.

There are three incredible guest authors joining to complement the sessions:

• Michelle Helliwell (Romance)
• Anne Louise O'Connell (Mystery/Crime)

I'll also be leading sessions focused on writing historical and contemporary fiction, as well as travel journalism.  See the full syllabus HERE, which includes on what topics the guest authors will contribute.

Because our speakers need time to prepare and we must finalize course materials, registration closes on August 19.

Through August 19, the special rate is $279 (no tax), which covers both workshop days, all course materials, and two lunches. If any spots remain after August 19, the price increases to $299.
